Estate Planning and Legal Representation

legal representation

Most attorneys and law firms have their own approaches to legal representation. At our firm, we prefer an approach where we:

  • First, engage in a fact-finding mission with our client in order to get the ‘lay of the land;'
  • Second, identify our clients' goals, objectives, and primary concerns;
  • Third, provide information and education to our clients; so that,
  • Finally, you, as the client, can engage in the decision making process in an informed and effective manner.

We work closely and collaboratively with our clients, rather than instructing them as to what to do. We attract clients who enjoy this more involved and interactive approach, rather than a more commandeering one.

You are the one in control

Remember, you, not the lawyer, are the boss of your case. You know the most about your circumstances and what you want to achieve. Never hesitate to be candid and forward when engaging with your lawyer. A good attorney will appreciate your interest and involvement.

Working with a lawyer is much like working with a good coach or instructor – there should be a “match.” Not every lawyer is a match for every client. Picking the correct attorney for you will allow you to proceed through the estate planning process with confidence.

Feel free to contact our Spokane estate planning attorneys at The Whipple Law Group, 509-869-3223, to determine whether our legal representation is a good match for you.
